APPSC Group 1 Services 2011 Notification, Exam date
APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) takes care of the recruitment needs of then government of Andhra Pradesh at various departments. APPSC issues notifications for the recruitment for the services of group 1, Group 2 and other vacancies in AP. APPSC also conducts examinations and interviews for the selection of candidates.
APPSC Group 1 2011 Notification: APPSC has issued notification number 18/2011 dated 28/11/2011 for the group 1 examinations. www.apspsc.gov.in is the official website where in candidates have to apply for the group 1 services. Online applications can be made during 9/12/2011 and 8/01/2012. The last date for payment of fee is 6th January 2012. The details regarding the group 1 recruitment can be had from the website of appsc at www.apspsc.gov.in.
According to APPSC it has dispensed applications to HPO (Head Post offices) and office of the APPSC for sale. Candidates can apply online through appsc website. Proper fee has to b paid at the time of applying.
The number of vacancies, nature of posts, pay scales as per the service rules and eligibility for applying can be had from the website. Educational qualifications required for the above posts can also be had from www.apspsc.gov.in.
Selection procedure of Group 1: Initially screen test is conducted and those qualified at screening test are eligible to appear for conventional written examination. An interview is conducted for those selected at written examination. Selection is based purely on merit and combined performance at written examination and oral interview.

Date of conventional written exam of Group 1 by APPSC: 3/10/2012.

Application procedure for APPSC group 1 : First candidates have to go to the official website of APPSC at www.apspsc.gov.in and enter details and Chelan is generated. Candidates have to pay fee through Chelan at any branch of SBI or at aponline centers. The candidates will get journal number. On getting the journal number candidates have to fill application online and upload the application.
