BHEL Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2012-13, 800 vacancies

BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited) is a PSU (Public sector Undertaking) company of Government of India. BHEL is one of the profits making PSU inIndia. BHEL is engaged in the manufacture of equipment needed for power plants and high voltage transformers. BHEL has issued notification for the recruitment of trainee Engineers for 2012-13.

 

Number of vacancies in different branches is as follows:

This notification is for about 800 vacancies in the fields of mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

 

Age limit for recruitment of BHEL trainee Engineers: 27 years and 29 years for post graduates. Relaxation about 5 years is given for SC reservation category and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Eligibility: bachelors Degree in engineering/ technology in the disciplines of Mechanical engineering/ Electrical engineering/ Electronics Engineering.

 

Application procedure for Engineer Trainee vacancies at BHEL for 2012-13: the candidates should have to apply for GATE 2012 and after getting registration number from GATE 2012 application they have to apply online for BHEL Engineer Trainee vacancies. Candidates should apply online at www.careers.bhel.in from 4th January 2012. Last date for submission of application online is 28th January 2012.

Selection process for Engineer Trainee: GATE 2012 score is taken into consideration for short listing the candidates for interview. For selection 75% weightage is given for GATE 2012 score and 25% weightage for interview.

 

Salary for Trainee Engineers at BHEL: The pay scale is about Rs.20,600 – 46,500/-.
