On the morning of this festival devotees take holy bath and wear new festive dresses. Laxmi Puja is performed on the night of Diwali and crackers are enjoyed by children. Dhanteras, Naraka Chaturdashi and Diwali are part of Diwali festive season. Some business communities treat Diwali as the annual accounts closing. They settle their business accounts. Profit and is calculated on this day. Some invest their earnings into savings.
