Microsoft is planning to launch windows 8 operating system shortly. Microsoft is also planning tablet named surface with windows 8 OS into the market. This tablet from Microsoft is planned and targeted for consumers.  But the new hp windows 8 tablet is planned for business people.

Hp windows 8 tablet shall come with windows RT operating system. Windows RT is the windows 8 version that is suited for tablets. Windows RT is designed for tablets using NVIDIA’s ARM processors. Though Hp is planning slate tablet with windows RT OS this new hp windows RT model is specifically launched for business purpose. This new model is likely to come with standard windows features like Microsoft office and adobe photo shop.

Traditionally Microsoft used to sell its software license to hard ware manufacturers. Now Microsoft has changed its stand of selling its windows OS to hard ware manufacturers and is launching the tablet with windows 8 on its own. Microsoft is also planning two tablets models surface with windows 8. One base model is designed with ARM processor is meant for consumers while another premium model at more cost and more powerful with Intel core i5 ( X86) processor. This powerful surface tablet model from Microsoft is aimed at Business users.

Hp windows 8 tablet launch date: Microsoft has not announced the launch date of windows. But it is likely to launch before the year end. It is likely to be launched in then months of September of October. There is no official announcement about then price of new Hp windows 8 tablet price. But it is expected to be above $ 500.
