Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Popularly known as Jagan , the former MP ( Member of Parliament) and son of  former CM Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy has resigned from Kadapa Parliamentary constituency as MP. His mother also has resigned as MLA from Pulivendula Assembly Constituency.

Y.V.Subba Reddy on behalf of Jagan has approached the eletion commissioner un New Delhi and applied for registration of policatal party. According to him the name of the party contains YSR. The probable name may be YSR Party, YSR Congress party or YSR Praja party. It may take another three weeks to declare the actual name of the party. It seems that Jagan wants to register the party before the bi elections to pulivendula Assembly and Kadapa parliamentary constituency elections.

Earlier Jagan has resigned from Congress party membership and as MP. The reason cited for the resignation is the humiliation he has met with congress high command for organizing odarpu yatra.  Odarpu yatra is meant to express his condolence for those who have committed suicide with shock of news of YSR’S Death.
