Puri is one of the pilgrim centers in India and is located in Orissa state. Puri is about 65 kms from Bhubaneswar. Hindu devotees from across India and abroad visit Puri to visit Lord Jagannath temple located in Puri.

How to reach Puri:

By air: Pilgrims can reach Bhubaneswar by air and from there they can reach Puri by taxi, bus or train.

By rail: Puri is having a railway station. Trains from Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Tirupati and Ahmadabad reach puri. Puri Howrah express, Jagannath Express, Puri Tirupati express is the important trains that pass through puri.

By road: Puri is well connected by road and buses from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Konark come to Puri.

Places of interest around Puri: Balighai beach is about 8 kms from Puri is one of the picnic spots fro tourists visiting Puri. Alarnath shrine at Brahmagiri is about 25 kms from puri. Lord Sakshi gopal temple at satyabadi is about 20 kms from puri.  Baliharachandi temple can be visited by Pilgrims which is 27 kms from puri. Satapara near Chilaka lake makes ideal tourist spot that is 52 kms from Puri.
