Renault earlier had tie up with Mahindra and has launchedLogan. Now Renault and Mahindra had parted and are manufacturing the cars on their own. Renault is presently having Pulse as hatchback, Fluence as sedan and Koleos as SUV model in Indian markets. Renault is having a production facility to manufacture 4 lakhs of cars per annum. Renault is planning to expand this facility to 8 lakhs units per annum by 2016. Renault is planning to export the cars manufactured from this plant. Now Renault has launched Duster as SUV with Diesel and Petrol as fuel.

Keyless entry, reverse parking sensor, rear defoggers and wipers are the features associated with Renault duster SUV car. 16 ‘’ aluminum wheels, chrome finish radiator grille are also features with Renault duster. The 108 hp model gives an ARAI certified mileage of 19.01 kmpl.  The diesel Dusters with less power models RXE and RXL diesel variants come with 1.5 dci K9K diesel engines that gives a maximum power of 83 hp@ 3750 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 1900 rpm. These models give a mileage of 20.45 kmpl of diesel.

The petrol variant of Renault Duster comes with 1.6 liter K4M petrol engine that gives a maximum power of 102 hp@ 5850 rpm and a torque of 145 Nm @ 3750 rpm. This petrol variant of Renault Duster comes with five speed manual gear transmission. The mileage given by this petrol Duster is 13.24 kmpl of petrol.

The petrol variant of Renault duster shall be at a price of Rs.7.19 lakhs and Rs.8.19 lakhs.
