Sabarimala Temple Timings, Ayyappa Darshan Timings
Lord Ayyappa / Ayyappan also known as Dharmasastha is an important god for Hindu devotees.LordAyyappaTempleis located at Sabarimala in Kerala state. Devotees desirous of having darshan usually take a Deeksha for 41 days and they prepare themselves for the sabarimala yatra. Initially Devotees on Ayyappa Deeksha reach Pumba river and have holy bath in the river. From Pumba Devotees take their yatra towards Sabarimala by climbing the steps of the temple. There will be 18 steps near the temple and the yatra gets completed after climbing the steps and having darshan of Ayyappa at the temple.
Templeopening dates for the Month of November 2011, December 2011 and Janauary 2012:
SabarimalaTempleis open for the darshan of devotees for Madala Pooja mahotsavam from 16ty November to 27th December 2011. Mandala Pooja is performed on the 27th day of December. Temple is opened again from 30th December 2011 to January 2012 for Makara Vilakku mahotsavam.
Darshan Timings of lord Ayyappa atSabarimalaTemple:Templeis open AT 4.00 AM in ten morning and closes at 1.30 PM. The temple is again opened for Darshan at 4.00 PM and is closed at 11.00 PM in the night. Ganapati Homam is performed at 4.15 AM in the morning after opening. Harivarasanam song is sung at 10.50 PM and after completion the temple is closed for the day.
