Presently parcels/ articles/ mails can be delivered with in India with in a day using speed post services. Speed post service is available for both with in the country and abroad to countries ranging from US, UK, Australia and other nations.
Speed post rates in India:
Speed post tariff plans range from Rs.12/- for local (with in city) and Rs.25/- with in India for mails/parcel of up to a weight of 50 gms irrespective of the weight of then article. Here is the table showing the tariff plans depending on the weight and distance. Speed posts rates for a 500gm parcel is Rs.80/- irrespective of the distance.
Speed post rates from India to US (America): 250 gms article/ parcel costs about Rs.475/- whereas the speed post rates for a 1000 gm article is Rs.775/-
Speed post rates from India to UK: Parcel with a weight of 500 gms is charged @ Rs.800/- and that of 1000 gms the rate is Rs.950/-.
