Who will win General elections 2014 in Andhra Pradesh?

 

India is going for parliament elections in April and May in 2014. Along with parliament elections, elections to the state assembly of Andhra Pradesh are to be held simultaneously. The Indian parliament has passed the state reorganization bill for Andhra Pradesh 2013. Andhra Pradesh state is divided into two states namely Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The notified date for the division of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states is 2nd June 2014. But the elections shall be held in the united state.

When are general elections 2014 held in Andhra Pradesh for state assembly?

Elections in Andhra Pradesh shall be held in two phases. The first phase of elections shall be held on 30th April 2014 in Telangana state. The elections to both assembly and parliament shall be held on 7th May 2014 in Seemandhra region. Counting shall for all the phases of elections shall begin on 16th May 2014 and the results shall be declared on the same day for most of the seats.

Who will win in Telangana in general elections 2014?

After the bifurcation of state and formation of Telangana state the TDP has lost its ground in Telangana state.  YSRCP has also lost its voters and leaders I Telangana region. The fight for the elections 2014 will be between TRS and Congress. The alliances have alliances have not been finalized. TDP and BJP may have alliance.  TRS is having its presence limited to four to five districts. But the congress is having its cadres and leaders across all the constituencies in Telangana.  TDP and BJP alliance if formed may get few seats in Hyderabad and its surrounding constituencies. Ultimately congress has the edge in winning majority of seats in Telangana and can be able to form the next government in Telangana state.

Who will win in General elections to assembly in the seemandhra area (Andhra Pradesh) state?

Congress has lost its ground and most of the senior leaders have deserted the party. The fight will be between YSRC and TDP. TDP is having some edge over YSR in Andhra Pradesh. TDP is likely to win majority of the seats in Andhra Pradesh and form the next government in the new state.
